Announcing the 2026 Chicago Titan 100 Recipients

Bonita Harrison is the driving force behind Buy Back the Block, a nationally recognized initiative that has brought together Black developers to revitalize historically disinvested communities in Chicago. Her company, Sunshine Management, has contributed to the creation of over 300 housing units, 400 jobs for minority-owned businesses, and more than $30 million in generated Black community wealth. Her business approach blends analytical precision with a deep commitment to justice, collaboration, and legacy building—a philosophy that continues to redefine what community-driven development can look like in America.
